Protopaper is sheets of paper with a perforated grids which serves as a 3D protyping tool. It is, however not just a tool but a plaything as well with which you can just start making folds and bends just to find out what kind of paper structure you can come up with. The paper is available with two different grid patterns: equilateral triangles and squares, each of which can lead to different regular or irregular folds.
