Pompons are balls made of plush fabric that can be used for a number of purposes: as handicrafts and decoration material (chains, Advent wreaths, etc.), as a woolen ball on a head covering (a beanie with pom!), as ornamentation on clothing. They can also be sewn together to make rugs or mats or can be used as a kind of litter material in display windows, on tabletops or attached to gifts. The pompons for stringing are also made of plush fabric and have a small plastic tube incorporated into them which makes it a snap to string them on any type of cord or wire with the appropriate thickness.
