The solid rubber semi-finished products on offer at Modulor including the fine and wide grooved mats as well as the gasket sheets are made from NR SBR which is a natural rubber, styrene and butadiene rubber composite. This rubber is specially known for its tensile strength, elasticity and resistance to cold. The SBR components increase the resistance to abrasion, heat and aging as compared to just plain natural rubber.

There are a wide variety of uses for this solid rubber gasket sheet: as a gasket sheet (naturally), as a floor covering, as an anti-slip mat or as a simple covering for your work table. It can also be the base material for making bags, cases and wallets.

The solid rubber gasket sheet can be cut using a blade or shears. They can be glued using contact cement (e.g. Pattex) or mixed adhesives based on cyanacrylate or polyurethane (e.g. super glue).
