Also, the untreated wooden sculpture, the plaster bust of Goethe, or the Buddha made of unglazed clay can be molded without damage, if you use a suitable release agent for open porous surfaces beforehand. To do this, carefully brush the original model with this emulsion wax (brush or cotton cloth), allow the application to dry, and then polish with a soft brush until the release wax is no longer visible. The universal mold release agent, with its polar wax base, is compatible with all aqueous and solvent-containing casting compounds.
