Schmincke Aqua-Fix increases the water resistance of watercolour and gouache paints and makes them waterproof. When overpainting, the agent prevents the colours from dissolving again and thus simplifies the overlapping of colour layers in the glazing technique. Aqua-Fix can be used instead of water (strongest effect) or diluted with water when painting watercolours. It is recommended not to apply the product directly into the watercolour cups and to thoroughly clean the brush or pallet with soap and water after use.
