The KK polyester filler KK Plast VT is a two-component polyester filler that you can use to fill, level and even out irregularities on a wide variety of substrates. The compound is formulated styrene-free and is characterized by a high filling capacity - it is therefore particularly suitable for repairs to GRP parts (glass fibre reinforced plastic), wood, metal, stone or concrete as well as for minor repair work in the construction sector or on boat hulls.
By adding 2 - 3 % BPO hardener paste, KK Plast VT hardens quickly and develops very low shrinkage values. Filled surfaces remain dimensionally stable and no major reworking is required. The filled surface can be sanded after just 15 minutes. Further processing and subsequent coating can therefore be carried out quickly.
The filler has a thixotropic, pasty consistency, which allows easy application with a spatula and precise application, even in several layers. After curing, the surface can be primed and painted. The filler is ideal for repair work where you want to create a robust and durable repair quickly.
