Kapa plast is made of plastic covered pulp board cover layers and is, therefore, moisture repellent, allowing it to be wiped clean using water. On top of that it has an acid-free and aging-resistant surface. The fact that the surface is covered in plastic makes it an interesting choice for short-term outdoor use. If the edges are protected by a suitable profile, Kapa plast can stay in the outdoors for a maximum of three months. If a long-term weather-resistant board is required, we would recommend the FOREX line.

The plastic covered surface of Kapa plast allows for the short-term repositioning of ADHESIVE FILMS (lettering film, mounting film, template film). If Kapa plast needs to be painted, printed or sprayed, we recommend the use of solvent-free paints. Kapa plast can be easily cut with a CUTTER and can even be punched and grooved.

It is especially the wide format boards that are excellent for use with digital printing technology. This board is especially stable dimensionally, lies very flat and can guarantee, because of its optimised ink adherance properties, a print with fine grades of colour when UV curable inks which contain solvent are used. In comparison to Kapa line, it requires about 15% less ink when being printed. This, of couse, means that the Kapa plast can find great use in the fields of visual communication, signage, advertising, photo campaigns and decoration.
