With the Jesmonite AC100 Micro Starter Kit tealight holder, you have everything you need to make your own tealight holders. With the set, you can start casting straight away.
Jesmonite AC100 is a water-based composite material consisting of a mineral base and an acrylic liquid. It is durable, fireproof and robust. The material is easy to color and hardens quickly, so you can achieve a result in a very short time with this set.
Application:
- Mixing: Mix 12.5 ml Jesmonite AC100 Liquid with 31 g base/powder in a ratio of 1:2.5, stirring the mixture thoroughly to avoid lumps.
- Coloring: Add color pigments as desired and mix in evenly.
- Pouring: Pour the mixture into the silicone mold provided. To avoid air bubbles, tap the mold lightly or use a vibrating plate.
- Hardening: Leave the mold to rest for about 30 minutes until the material has completely hardened.
- Demolding and finishing: Remove the coaster from the mold. If necessary, any unevenness can be smoothed out with fine sandpaper (180 grit) after 24 hours at the earliest.
