Treatment: Spraying this activator on the area to be glued before assembly causes curing to take place immediately. This acceleration can be necessary in cases where the glue is applied in thick amounts, in low temperatures or in conditions of extremely low air moisture, whereby the glue will only cure slowly. In addition, the activator diminishes the bothersome reaction odour of cyanoacrylate adhesives as well as their “blooming” (white precipitate) at the joint.
The contents of the Weicon spray are hazardous to health (see description). You should also take note that an easy but not so effective way to accelerate the reaction of super glues is to increase the moisture at the joint area by breathing on it as one would when trying to make “smoke” in the wintry air.
