The walnut profiles are milled from well-seasoned walnut wood. They are neatly finished and very straight. Because the wall thickness is much thicker than brass or plastic profiles (and because of the dark color), the profiles look a bit more bulky. However, you can work them quite easily and cleanly by hand. They are easy to saw, sand and glue. In addition to their use in architectural model making, they are often suitable for minor repairs to wooden furniture and for handicraft work.
