The T-190 from Toyo Steel is a compact metal box for small parts that you’ll want to keep within easy reach and protected at your desk, in your studio, in your workshop, or around the house. With interior dimensions of 186 × 88 × 41 mm, it can hold items such as pens and drawing supplies, sewing accessories, small tools, screws, or other small parts without taking up much space on a shelf or work surface.
A defining feature of Toyo Steel is its construction from pressed steel: In 1969, the company developed a deep-drawing process that allows tool boxes to be formed seamlessly from sheet steel. This results in a sturdy construction with a clean, minimalist form and rounded edges.
The box really shows its strength when you use multiple boxes: The T-190 is designed to be stackable. This allows you to store different items separately and stack multiple (different-colored) boxes on top of each other, rather than taking up additional floor space. This makes it easy to create a well-organized storage system, especially in smaller workspaces, in drawer units, or on open shelves.
