The TFC silicone rubber Baseline 100 (BL100) is a convincing entry-level product in the world of impression silicones. Focused on the essentials, it offers you an attractive price-performance ratio in addition to simple processing and high impression accuracy.

The TFC silicone rubber Baseline 100 (BL100) is slightly thicker than comparable products, but thanks to its elastic properties it is ideal for smaller objects up to 30 cm in size. You can use it to make single or multi-part molds for water-soluble or solvent-based casting materials. Wood, glass, metal, plastic, wax and ceramic casting compounds can be molded.

The pot life and curing times of the product are somewhat longer. The A-component of the silicone is not colored. Although this means that you have to be particularly careful when mixing the two components, it also offers you an advantage: because it does not contain any additional pigments, you can color the silicone perfectly. If you leave it transparent, you can easily keep an eye on how the casting compound is distributed in the mold.

The application

Shake both components well. Carefully mix part of component A with part of component B. Take care to avoid mixing in air. Then pour the mixture into the prepared mold with an even, thin stream.

Please note that the silicone has not been tested for skin and mucous membrane compatibility or for use in conjunction with food.
