The pocket plane is a compact and versatile tool that is ideal for working on materials such as wood, balsa wood and especially leather. With its handy size and well thought-out design, it offers both professionals and hobby craftsmen precision and ease of use. Because it is not only suitable for working wood (edges), but also for working leather, it is sometimes referred to as a "leather plane".
The one-handed plane is made of robust die-cast zinc Z40 and measures 84 x 44 x 30 mm. This means it fits comfortably in a trouser pocket and is always ready to hand. The ergonomic shape makes it easy to use with one hand.
You can adjust the blade to two positions as required. The five straight, sharp blades included in the scope of delivery (and available as spare parts) are made in Germany from spring band steel (material number 1.1274) and are characterized by their long-lasting sharpness. Thanks to the well thought-out design, the blades can be replaced quickly and without additional tools using just one central screw.
