Light off, effect on! The plottiX PremiumFlex GITD thermal transfer film only unfolds its full effect when all lighting is switched off. During the day, the product appears in classic white. In the dark, it adds a magical touch to numerous motifs by glowing with a subtle greenish afterglow.
The film can be ironed onto textiles made of cotton, polyester or mixed fabrics. The pressing temperature required for the transfer is 165 °C and the pressing time is approx. 17 seconds. Whether you use a classic iron and a hard, flat surface to transfer your desired motif or a transfer press is entirely up to you. In either case, it is advisable to pre-iron the fabric for about 5 seconds before positioning the motif. Also place a sheet of baking paper between the motif and the press or iron.
If you want to wash your finished work, you can do so at up to 60 °C. The lower the temperature, the better. If possible, turn your fabric inside out beforehand.
Tip: If you are using a Silhouette cutting plotter to shape the film, select blade setting 1 and a contact pressure of 4. In a preliminary test, you can check whether you can achieve the desired result with these values. The condition of your blade plays a major role in choosing the right contact pressure.
Please note: The size of the foil may vary by up to 2% for technical reasons.
