The blade of this Opinel knife is made of high-alloy carbon steel. Its advantage is that it is easy to sharpen yourself. This special steel should be cleaned and dried after use, as it easily forms flash rust. The blade can be locked in place at lightning speed by turning a safety ring (Virobloc system). The handle of this Opinel with a special coating is made of dried, long-stored hardwood and is moisture-resistant.
