This cutter allows you to cut advertisements out of the newspaper or cut something out of a book without damaging the next page lying under it. By the same token, you can also cut self-adhesive film in such a way that the release paper on the bottom remains unaffected. Here is the way it works: the blade of this cutter is not rigidly mounted as is the case with conventional cutters, but rather spring mounted on the vertical plane; the spring tension can be regulated by means of a continuously adjustable MIN/MAX adjuster. In the face of more or less resistance, the blade cuts more or less deep. Once having found the right setting on the adjuster, you can continue to make any number of cuts which will have the exact same depth.
