The cotton nettle with a basis weight of 480 g/m² is a robust, untreated fabric made from 100% cotton. With its high density and durability, this heavy nettle fabric is suitable for numerous applications:
- For upholstery, as a cover, for bags
- For theater and stage sets: Its opaque structure makes it suitable for backdrops and stage curtains
- For painting: as a hard-wearing base for large-format paintings and wall designs
- For the home: as a shade-providing awning or space-creating, lightweight element
As the fabric is untreated, undyed and unbleached, it can be dyed or printed according to individual wishes. It is advisable to wash the nettle before processing, as it can shrink by around 10% the first time it is washed.
