The Jesmonite silicone bowl mold is a self-separating, reusable casting mold made of flexible silicone that is used to make decorative bowls. It is suitable for various casting compounds such as Jesmonite, concrete, plaster or other casting compounds and enables numerous casting processes. The service life of the mold depends on the aggressiveness of the casting material. Solvent-based casting compounds put more strain on the mold than plaster-based or wax-based casting compounds. Please note: Dark colors or pigments in the casting compounds can leave marks on the silicone mold. Transport and packaging-related irregularities can usually be rectified by kneading or massaging in hot water and are not grounds for complaint.

You can use the molds to make individual bowls that are suitable for storing jewelry, keys or simply as a decorative element. Homemade bowls are personal gifts for friends and family that bear your creative signature. Experiment with different casting compounds and pigments to achieve unique color and texture effects.

If possible, clean the silicone mold after each use with warm water and mild detergent. Then dry it thoroughly so that it lasts as long as possible. Store the mold in a dust-free place to avoid soiling, which could affect the quality of future casting projects. If you are not using the mold for a longer period of time, it is best to store it lined with a non-aggressive material such as plaster.
