FIMO Air Wood Effect is an air-drying modeling clay with a wood-like appearance when hardened. It consists of over 95% natural raw materials (e.g. kaolin and cellulose fibers), which gives it a pleasantly smooth, slightly textured surface. After modeling, the clay remains dimensionally stable and tear-resistant - without the need for oven curing. FIMO Air Wood Effect is ideal for numerous hobby, art and craft projects such as figures, decorative elements and models. It is also ideal for use in schools, nurseries or workshops.
Drying is best done at room temperature - depending on the thickness of the model in hours to days, with slight shrinkage of the mass (approx. 7 %). During drying, you should turn the object regularly so that it hardens evenly. Once completely dry, the material can be worked mechanically: Filing, sanding, drilling and sawing are all possible without any problems. It can also be varnished, painted or coated with protective layers - for an individual design or a weatherproof surface.
