Collall bookbinding glue is a white, thick, water-based PVAc glue (also known as laminating glue), specially developed for bookbinding work. It is also suitable for bonding paper, cardboard, cork, wood, textiles, leather and some plastics. It can also be used to impregnate canvas and as a binder for homemade paints by adding pigments. The glue is also ideal for model railroad construction: The properties of the glue are ideal for flocking substrates, building and ballasting the track bed yourself and gluing on the tracks. It is viscous when applied and remains somewhat elastic after hardening.
The glue adheres quickly, dries transparently and forms a flexible and moisture-resistant film. It is low in odor, acid-free with a pH value in the 5 - 6 range and does not yellow over time. It is therefore also suitable for use as a repair adhesive for old books or art projects with long-term requirements.
