The Beavercraft Carving Set Kids is a complete wood carving starter set for children and young beginners. It gently and safely introduces the basics of wood carving by combining tools, materials and clear instructions for a first creative project: carving and designing a spruce tree figure. At the heart of the set is a specially designed carving knife with a rounded tip and protective guard, which reduces the risk of injury when working and provides a better introduction to the technique. The blade is made of carbon steel, while the handle is made of ergonomically shaped ash wood - creating a balanced mix of comfort, control and stability when working.
The set is put together so that you can get started right away: In addition to the knife, it includes two wooden blanks made of lime wood, sandpaper, safety tape to protect your fingers while carving, a pencil as well as paints and a brush for creative finishing.
