The BeaverCraft carving set gouge is a tool set for hollow and notch cuts in wood. It enables you to carve textured reliefs, concave shapes or decorative carving patterns out of wood. The set contains four carefully ground tools with different profiles: flat and deep gouges and a V-shaped notching chisel. The blades are made of high-quality carbon steel, which ensures long-lasting sharpness and precise cuts. The blades are sharpened ready for use ex works.
The ergonomically shaped handles made of oiled ash wood are comfortable to hold and enable controlled, fatigue-free work - even on longer projects. If necessary, you can maintain and polish the blades with the leather strop and green polishing paste supplied. A robust roll-up bag made of waxed canvas is used for storage and is also suitable for mobile use. Make sure to dry the blades after use and oil them occasionally to keep them rust-free.
