The self-adhesive flock film can be applied very well to smooth, flat, inflexible, solid and non-curved surfaces. As a polyester film, it should be applied dry, as water trapped between the substrate and the film cannot diffuse through the film.
You can have the CaressColour flock film cut very easily in the cutting plotter. When plotting the self-adhesive film, work with increased blade pressure. Set the plotter blade to a thick quality. Try not to cut too fine contours (letter height at least 10 mm), as these are not particularly easy to recognize on the fibrous surface. In addition, try not to leave the transfer foil on the flock fibers for too long, preferably only as long as it takes to transfer after weeding, so that as few flock fibers as possible remain on the adhesive side of the transfer foil when the transfer foil is removed.
The high-quality flock fibers are applied very densely to the carrier film and create a velvety soft feel. This means you can use the velour adhesive film on all smooth surfaces in the areas of shopfitting, architecture and trade fair construction. The film can be removed from glass and metal surfaces without leaving any residue. It is therefore also suitable for temporary decorations.
You can clean the flock surface with a little water or light detergent. If the surface no longer looks homogeneous, the fibers can be reattached by using steam. However, make sure that you process the film with as little heat as possible so as not to damage the adhesive.
