The Aslan HoloStripe adhesive film SE 74 is a self-adhesive PET film with a holographic stripe design in silver with a rainbow effect. It creates a prismatic color effect that is visible on both sides and changes depending on the viewing angle and incidence of light. This creates very lively light reflections on transparent surfaces such as glass or clear plastic, which are visible from both the front and the back. The film's qualities make it ideal for effective designs for shop windows, glass partitions, displays or decorative elements in interior design. The metallic stripe pattern provides a technical look and the holographic effect creates a lively play of colors.
The film is designed for bonding to smooth, flat and solid substrates and cannot be stretched or stretched. A clean, dust-free and grease-free substrate is required for even adhesion. As a PET-based adhesive film, it is dimensionally stable and designed for flat applications; it is not suitable for strongly curved or flexible substrates. The adhesive used creates a secure bond and is also adjusted so that the film can be removed again if necessary.
The glossy film can be printed with latex and UV-curing inks as well as screen printing inks. Please note: As the polyester film is not breathable, we recommend applying the film dry. If you do want to apply it wet, make sure you squeegee out as much of the water as possible, otherwise the drying time can be very long. The manufacturer also recommends that the film should not be applied to outgassing surfaces such as non-tempered acrylic glass.
