The 3M 6002KIT-1 is a complete respiratory protection system that includes a reusable 6000 series half mask (model 6200, medium size) with replaceable filters. Designed for painting and sanding work, it protects against organic gases/vapors and particle exposure. Thanks to the bayonet connection, cartridges and filters can be changed quickly and safely. The mask is lightweight and equipped with a large-area double filter system and an adjustable head strap, which improves wearing comfort even during prolonged use. Manufactured to European standards, it is compatible with other 3M protective products.
The interchangeable filters with medium protection class A2-P2 protect your respiratory tract against gases from solvent-based paints, adhesives and cleaning agents as well as particles from fine dust, oil and water vapors. We also offer suitable replacement filters for respirators from the 3M 6000 series.
Even if wearing a respirator is not particularly comfortable, the comparatively low weight of the mask helps to ensure that you do not tire so quickly when working. And the mask's large exhalation valve and double filter system make breathing easier. To protect your eyes and ears, you should wear safety goggles and ear protection in addition to the respirator, especially when machine grinding.
