This doming resin is a 2-component epoxy resin system designed for sealing and coating work in small volumes and thin layers. The crystal clear epoxy resin works well as a thick film glaze and has been developed for sealing and coating small volumes and thin layers up to 1 cm. The resin offers a clear, high-gloss surface with good UV stability and can be poured with few bubbles. It is particularly suitable for applications in the jewelry and art sector, e.g.For example, for sealing pendants, pictures, woodwork, puzzles or for creating 3D effects ("doming") on workpieces.
The practical bag packaging with the coordinated quantities of resin and hardener allows you to mix conveniently without time-consuming weighing or separate mixing cups. Please ensure that the material is initially tempered to 15 - 20 °C when processing. Temperatures above 20 °C can lead to rapid curing, boiling bubbles or stress cracks. The two components can be mixed in the packaging bag. Follow the product instructions:
- Remove the black plastic clip and the foam roller inside.
- Unfold the bags and place them on a firm surface.
- Use the round end of the black plastic clip to spread the contents of one bag into the other - repeat the process five times.
- Roll up the empty bag from top to bottom and secure the roll with the black plastic clip.
- Cut off a small corner of the full bag and pour the contents directly from the bag or pour the contents into a small mixing bowl and add color and/or pigments.
