The Sennelier egg tempera paints are the preferred medium of Marc Chagall and can be found in many of his most famous works. The colors are characterized by a high luminosity, are light-resistant, non-aging, and non-yellowing, and are water-soluble when wet. The Binder for Sennelier Egg Tempera paints is produced following a century-old recipe since 1895.
