With “Low & Lower,” Swiss designer Michel Charlot has designed an entire family of tables out of classic steel tube frames and linoleum table surfaces with real-wood edges. With its timeless shape and premium materials, the end table collection can be integrated into any room and is suitable for home as well as the office.
The name “Low & Lower” refers to the two different table heights of 370 and 270 mm, which allow the end tables in different sizes to also be set up well as a group. This versatile table is available from us in a number of versions with three different frame surfaces and various linoleum colors for the table top. The edge of the table top is always made of oak wood. The production takes place entirely in Germany.
Linoleum is a natural material made of the renewable raw materials linseed oil, burlap, wood flour and limestone powder and has a pleasantly warm, slightly elastic surface. You can put down a hot cup of coffee on the linoleum table surface without a second thought, because the material can withstand temperatures up to 70 °C for a short period. The linoleum table top is completed with a solid oak edging. The linoleum colors are, incidentally, identical to those of our Linoleum Table Surface.
The table frame is made of two pieces of bent steel tubes that are screwed into the linoleum sheet. For surface finishes, you can choose between glossy chrome, matte chrome, and black satin gloss.
With its steel tube frame and linoleum sheet, “Low & Lower” also complements office or dining tables made of an E2 table frame with a linoleum table surface.
