Zapon lacquer is a high-quality, transparent protective lacquer that has been specially developed to protect shiny metal surfaces from tarnishing, discoloration and corrosion (patina). It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is available in two practical packaging sizes. The surface to be treated must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and fingerprints. If necessary, clean with nitro thinner. Gilded objects should be allowed to dry completely for several days before overpainting. Apply the lacquer thinly with a synthetic brush. The surface is dust-dry after about 15 minutes and completely dry after about an hour.
