Application: The G 785 stretches both lengthwise and crosswise. It is a very delicate and lightweight woven interfacing for use on blouses and dresses as well as the front portions of jackets and coats made of lightweight fabrics or stretch fabrics like silk, viscose, cuprous and Cool Wool. This skin-coloured interfacing is especially good for use with transparent clothing fabrics.

Method of use: The interfacing is always cut in a lengthwise direction and must always follow the grain of the fabric to which it is being applied. Using a low heat – iron setting at Wool/Silk – first apply quickly to prevent any warping, then slowly glide the iron with pressure 6 times over the entire area with an iron setting of Wool/Cotton. The last step can be done dry or with steam. Allow the pieces to cool while lying flat for about 30 minutes, so that the adhesive can set properly.

We strongly recommend that you attach a small piece of interfacing to a fabric remnant with your iron first to make sure that the hold and the adhesion meet your expectations.
