The Vlieseline 272 is a compressed volume fleece with excellent insulation properties that is designed to be sewn into place. It is indispensable for quilt and patchwork projects like, for example, wall hangings, runners (carpets), table pads, place mat sets and potholders. This soft and dense fleece is also ideal as a mat when doing the ironing work for embroidery projects – the embroidery will retain its elasticity during the ironing stage because of the give of this soft substrate. Sensitive sequined materials and pearl embroidery can also be covered with this fleece during the ironing process as a means of protection.
