The 277 volume fleece is a dense, very lightweight and extremely soft cotton fleece for patchwork and quilting projects. It can also be used as wadding for outer garments. It will not fray and will hold its shape even after many washings. When using it, the dense fleece should be laid on the back side of your fabric and stitched together with your fabric in one step.
