Like SnapPap paper, Texipap Washpaper is a tear-resistant and machine-washable composite material made of paper (cellulose) and latex. With the gold and silver surfaces, the sturdy washing paper is particularly suitable for sewing projects like bags, pencil cases, or catch-alls in a trendy metallic leather style.
The versatile material can be sewn, embroidered, folded, outlined, glued, printed with transfer foil, painted, stamped, and ironed. Even embossing and lasering is possible.
Before sewing, Texipap should be washed to make it softer and easier to handle. This pre-wash gives it a slightly crinkled leather look, which becomes stronger by drying it in the dryer. When crafting, outlining, printing, or gluing, you'll achieve the best results without pre-washing.
