The SC 40 laser adhesive film is not only great for use with all black-and-white machines but also satisfies all the requirements for use with the newest colour copiers and colour laser printers. The relatively thick release paper provides it with excellent flatness and also helps to prevent paper jamming. The adhesive was specially developed for use with high temperatures, which means that during heat intensive copying work it will not run out past the edges. This film can be used universally indoors as well as outdoors at temperatures between +5°C and +80°C for up to 12 months. In order to remove the film, a hair dryer or HOT AIR GUN should be used to warm it up before pulling it off.
This translucent, matte film takes extremely well to being written on and can be copied without producing shadows after being glued. It is therefore very often chosen as the means for adding lettering (standardized lettering for architectural plans), figures, trees or basic structures or patterns (shadows in an elevation plan) to architectural plans made of transparent paper. If you only want to add a copied structure on to a certain area of a drawing, you should glue a somewhat larger piece of the film on to the plan, press it only lightly in place and then carefully cut the film with a sharp ART KNIFE without cutting through to the plan itself. The cut away material should then be removed and the remaining film pressed firmly into place (e.g. with a PRESSURE ROLLER).
