The Schmincke watercolor binder ready-to-use is a ready-to-use medium that has been specially developed for the simple production of transparent and brilliant watercolors. In combination with high-quality artist pigments, it allows you to mix your own individual watercolors, which are characterized by excellent glazing properties and luminosity. The paints made with this binder can be diluted with water and dissolved again after drying, making them ideal for various watercolor techniques - from fine, even gradients to intensive applications of paint. The binder consists of an aqueous gum arabic solution and ox gall, which ensures a smooth consistency and optimum paintability. It dries smudge-proof, but not waterproof, so that corrections and reworking are possible at any time.
