With Royal Talens Photo Transfer Gel Amsterdam, printed photos and copies can be easily transferred to various substrates. However, this works explicitly only with printouts from laser printers and copiers.
The procedure is quite simple: First, you apply a layer of photo transfer gel directly onto the printed motif. Then you place the paper with the coated print side down on the selected substrate. You can carefully brush away any air bubbles from the center to the outside. The photo transfer gel should dry for at least 24 hours before you carefully remove the paper with water and a brush or damp cloth. Note, especially when transferring lettering, that the finished image will appear mirror-inverted.
You can paint over the transferred image directly afterwards with acrylic paints. To optimize the surface and durability, it is advisable to treat the work with an acrylic paint or varnish, e.g. Royal Talens Varnish Amsterdam.
