With the Royal Talens afterglow paint Amsterdam, you can give various surfaces and works of art a sophisticated glow-in-the-dark effect. Add exciting details to your paintings, create a glow-in-the-dark starry sky over your bed, or mark light switches and steps so they're easier to see in the dark.
The phosphorescent pigments in the painting medium store light and release it again when it gets dark. The duration of the afterglow effect depends to a large extent on the previous illumination time and the light source. An optimal effect is achieved on white surfaces.
You can mix the stain with acrylic paints. However, since the luminous effect is greatly reduced, it is advisable to apply the product as the last layer. To additionally protect the surface from mechanical and UV effects, you can treat it with a varnish, e.g. Royal Talens Varnish Amsterdam, after the stain has dried.
