The Prym giant safety pin made of hardened steel is a large-sized fastening pin for applications where you need a safety pin in XXL format. It is made of hardened steel and is therefore not only unusually large. It is also unusually strong. Its robust design makes it suitable for securely holding together thicker materials or multi-layered textiles.
In contrast to smaller safety pins, the larger size allows easy handling even with strong fabrics such as jeans, coat fabrics, blankets or upholstery materials. The hardened steel quality ensures that the needle does not bend easily when piercing resistant materials. This is particularly relevant for repairs, temporary fastenings or technical applications where a stable fixation is required.
The classic safety catch with integrated protective cap prevents unintentional opening and reduces the risk of injury when carrying or transporting fastened materials. This means that the needle can be used in the textile sector as well as for decorative or structural purposes, for example for draping heavy fabrics, fixing tarpaulins or for large-format costume and stage applications. The needle can be opened and closed several times without losing its original shape.
