With the Gesso from the Studio Green range, Pebeo is focusing on the environment: both the packaging of the product and the resin used are made from 100% recycled materials. Compared to conventional binders, the variant used causes six to seven times lower CO₂ emissions. The properties are comparable in terms of processing, adhesion, durability and flexibility.

You can use the gesso quite classically to prime various painting surfaces such as canvas, cardboard or wood to improve the adhesion of acrylic and oil paints. The surface should be clean and free of grease. Brushes, knives or paint rollers are suitable for application. For a particularly smooth surface, it is possible to sand the gesso.

There are three different gessos to choose from: a classic white, a high-coverage white and a black. All variants are water-based, quick-drying, convince with a matte finish and can be combined with all other products in the Studio Green range. Both the high-coverage and the black variants require only a single application to prepare your painting surface.
