Whether you want to give accessories for the children's room, the club or an exhibition a cool glow effect visible under UV light: Montana UV Effect Spray is the way to go.
The transparent product holds back in daylight and only shows its fluorescent effect when a UV light comes into play. Suitable substrates include canvases, masonry, wood, glass, metal and plastic. You can also use absorbent materials such as paper and cardboard. Simply perform a spray test on a non-visible area to see if your chosen object and the effect spray are compatible.
Shake the spray can for about 2 to 3 minutes before use and apply the effect spray in several thin layers. Let the individual layers dry for at least 5 minutes each. The optimum processing temperature is between 10 and 25 °C. The humidity should not exceed 60 %.
For an even spray result, the 400 ml can is equipped with a flat-jet cap medium. Its nozzle is adjustable and can be aligned both horizontally and vertically.
Generally speaking, the more layers of paint you apply, the stronger the UV effect. Due to its rather low light resistance, the product is primarily designed for indoor use. For a longer life of the effect, you can additionally seal your spray result. You can also combine other Montana color and effect paints as well as simple synthetic resin and acrylic paints. Do not process your work until after about 24 hours. At this point, it should be fully cured. It is dust-dry after about 10 minutes and touch-dry after 60 minutes.
Caution: Partial varnishing may be visible in daylight due to the different gloss levels of the surface. The same applies to work on particularly matte substrates. For a uniformly glossy result, you can consider using clear lacquer to even out the surface.
