Who says rust is only found on iron? The Montana Rust Effect Spray gives paper, cardboard and primed canvases an authentic rust look in no time. The nitro combination also succeeds in mimicking oxidation on wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone and acrylic. If you want to give Styrofoam a rusty look, a pretreatment is necessary. It serves to seal the surface completely before you start spraying.
In any case, it is advisable to carry out a spray test on an invisible area. This way you can see if the effect spray is suitable for the respective surface.
Are you ready to get started? Then proceed as follows: Shake the can for about 2 to 3 minutes before applying the paint. Protect your surroundings from spray mist. Keep about 25 cm away from the object you want to give a vintage look. Make sure the surface you are spraying is dry, dust and oil free. Apply thin, even coats and let the spray dry for at least 2 minutes between each coat. For an especially authentic result, we recommend that you combine the colors Orange Brown and Brown. Allow your work to cure for 24 hours before working over it with other coatings or markers.
