With the Montana photoluminescent effect spray Nightglow, you can give numerous surfaces a cool glow-in-the-dark effect. The luminescent pigments contained in the paint store light from the environment and release it again in the dark. The duration of the glow depends on the intensity of the light charge and on the application of the effect spray. The more layers of paint you apply, the more intense the glow effect becomes.
You can use the luminous paint on metal, wood, hard plastic, painted cardboard and concrete, among other things, although it is generally recommended to prime the painting surface before application. Whether you want to use the glow effects indoors or outdoors is up to you. However, the spray result is only resistant to weather, light and UV influences to a limited extent. You can optimize this with an appropriate sealant.
For an even result, work in a cross pattern if possible and ensure a minimum distance of 20 cm when spraying to counteract the formation of lugs. The optimum processing temperature is between 10 and 25 °C. The maximum humidity should not exceed 60%. Your result will be dust-dry after about 15 minutes and touch-dry after 60 minutes. As soon as it has completely hardened after about 24 hours, you can recoat it with synthetic or acrylic paints.
Practical tip: Test on an invisible area whether the substrate you have chosen and the effect spray can be combined. The same is recommended for products with which you want to rework your work.
