Fans of authentic vintage effects and cool used looks take note! The Montana Vintage effect spray gives your favorite photos, posters, signs and numerous other things a stylish yellowing effect. You can use the semi-transparent solvent-based acrylic paint on paper, cardboard, cardboard, photo paper, wood, metal and plastic. As always, a spray test on an invisible area pays off.
First put on gloves and a respiratory mask before applying about 2 to 3 coats of the varnish in a crisscross pattern - that is, first lengthwise, then crosswise, then lengthwise again. The substrate should be free of dust, rust and grease. The yellowing effect is particularly effective on white and light-colored substrates. However, irregular color distribution and the number of layers of paint applied can also enhance the effect.
The spray can's low-pressure stage and flat-jet cap allow for easy and precise paint application. Since the nozzle can be rotated, you can align it horizontally or vertically. The optimum processing temperature of the effect spray is between 10 and 25 °C. The humidity should not exceed 50%. The silk-matt drying paint is temperature-resistant up to 80 °C.
After about 3 hours, you can finish your work with synthetic resin, NC or acrylic paints. The result should dry for at least 24 hours.
Extra tip: You can work the still-wet paint with paper or a sponge after application to enhance the vintage look. When the result is completely dry, it can also be roughened with fine sandpaper.
The effect spray is UV resistant. For outdoor use, additional sealing of the designed objects is recommended.
