Our X table, which won the Red Dot Award "Best of the Best", is now also available in a version for children and teenagers that grows with them in six different colors. The X table frame for children is height-adjustable in five stages from 515 mm (without table top) for children aged around 6 to 715 mm (without table top) for teenagers or adults. A table top can be placed on anti-slip rubber pads or securely screwed to the frame. The necessary table top connectors and screws are included in the scope of delivery. We offer a melamine table top with beech edging measuring 22 x 680 x 1200 mm to match the X table frame for children. Of course, you can also combine a custom-made linoleum tabletop in your desired color and size with the frame.
The frame is fixed at the various heights by means of spring-loaded snap buttons in holes in the tubes, as we know them from other telescopic tubes - for example in some vacuum cleaners. You press the button from the outside "into the tube", so to speak, and at the same time push the interlocking tubes towards each other (in or out) and the spring-loaded button snaps out again at the next hole. This mechanism also prevents the height adjusters on the children's table frame X from falling out of the side parts. The height adjusters are located at the bottom of the tubes. This has the advantage that the cross ("X") does not get in the way of the taller user when he/she stretches out his/her legs, because the higher the table, the more legroom there is. Just like its big brother, the cross on the children's table can be mounted in the middle or offset so that smaller children can also sit opposite the table.
