The Himi gel gouache paint set contains water-based gouache paints with a gel-like consistency, which are filled in individual, resealable jelly cups. The paints are ready to use and can be applied directly from the cup. Thanks to the gel-like texture, they retain their shape, can be picked up in a controlled manner and applied evenly. The individual jelly cups can be closed again after use to prevent the colors from drying out.
Gel gouache differs from acrylic paint in that it can be reactivated: after drying, the paints can be dissolved again with water and used again. This also makes the set suitable for working in layers, for corrections and for remixing colors that have already been used. When wet, the paints are easy to mix and enable finely graduated color gradients as well as opaque or translucent applications, depending on the amount of water added. The paints are suitable for work on paper, cardboard and other absorbent surfaces.
