The Golden Self Level Clear gel is the least viscous in the Golden line of painting gels and is distinguished by its slow-flowing (honey-like) consistency and leveling properties. It dries to a harmonious, highly transparent and glossy film. If mixed with acrylic paints, other gels or painting mediums they will exhibit more fluidity and can be applied without leaving a visible brush stroke. The Self Leveling gel can be added to acrylic paint in any desired amount (this applies to other gels and painting mediums as well); the greater the amount added, the greater the degree of glossiness and transparency of the paint - and this without the paint losing its ease of application. For extended open times the Golden RETARDER can be added. The viscosity of Self Leveling gel is similar to that of Golden´s CLEAR TAR GEL, which has even better flowing properties and can be allowed to "drip" from a palette knife or other tool in long, tar-like strings over surfaces to make lines.
