Small wooden figures, endless creative freedom: With these DIY kits, you can transform raw wooden pieces into colorful ornaments and personalized decorations. Depending on the kit, you’ll paint, sculpt, or embroider. The kits combine the necessary materials with instructions and are perfect for creative afternoons as well as craft projects to do together with kids. The wooden shapes provide the starting point—then it’s up to you to bring them to life.
In the “Monsters” set, eight wooden figures are waiting to take on a character of their own. Use the included multi-markers to paint the figures, and add three-dimensional details with Foam Clay and Glitter Clay. Acrylic yarn, pom-poms, and pipe cleaners bring wild hairstyles, whiskers, or other imaginative embellishments to life. Whether friendly, cheeky, or wonderfully quirky: you decide what your monsters look like. The finished figures can be used as pendants or made to stand on a base you’ve shaped yourself out of Foam Clay. This creates a little monster collection for your bag or your child’s room.
The Rainbow/Shell/Butterfly set combines wood with colorful yarn. The three wooden shapes are embroidered with acrylic yarn and decorated with faceted beads and pom-poms. As you pull the threads through, colorful lines and patterns emerge on the blanks. It’s the perfect opportunity to try your hand at embroidery on a solid surface. The set includes a keyring with a chain and suction cups for hanging: the butterfly can become a bag charm or keychain, while the rainbow and seashell can be used as window decorations.
Both options invite you to combine different materials and customize the provided designs according to your own ideas. You can keep the finished pieces, give them as gifts, or put them together to create a small collection.
