Robots don't always have to be made of metal. With this creative set, you can build them using various modeling clays, beads, pipe cleaners, and lots of little details. The set is designed for children ages six and up and includes the materials needed to create several imaginative robots right away. There’s no set way to build them, and you can combine shapes, colors, and accessories in new ways time and time again.
The three different modeling clays in the set make the modeling experience especially varied. Stone Clay provides a sturdy base for the robot figures, while the soft Silk Clay® and textured Foam Clay® can be used to sculpt smaller shapes and eye-catching details. This allows you to create large eyes, noses, feet, buttons, or other imaginative components.
Everything needed to make a robot a real robot is also included: pipe cleaners can be shaped into arms, legs, or antennae; Styrofoam balls and beads become additional components; and googly eyes give the figures their own unique expressions. A pen and a marker further expand the creative possibilities. Children can start modeling and combining right away, experimenting with how different shapes, textures, and materials can be put together. The included inspiration ideas can serve as a starting point, but they don’t have to be followed exactly.
