Become Zen! With the Buddha Board you practice to fully engage in the moment, create something beautiful and let it go at the same time.
Simply dip the soft bristles of the bamboo brush into the water container on the stand of the set and write, paint or draw on the board. Your brush strokes will appear in rich black and have an ink-like look. The image fades as the water begins to evaporate. Depending on the saturation of the brush, the ambient temperature and the humidity, this will start after a few seconds. Until your image is no longer visible and you have a white painting surface in front of you again, it can take about 3 to 10 minutes.
The Buddha board is suitable as a meditation aid, mindfulness exercise and for stress management. Not only drawing can provide relaxation. Come to rest while looking at the slowly fading image and rejoice in the blank board with the option of a new beginning. Even children from about 5 years old can switch off while working with the board without ink, paint or paper.
Would you like to paint more flat on the Buddha board? No problem - you can use any new clean brush to practice the art of water calligraphy. However, you should not completely immerse the painting surface. Also, refrain from using your fingers to write and draw, as grease or the like will transfer to the board. For the same reason, it is advisable to only touch the edges of the Buddha board when transporting it. The surface cannot be recoated, but with good care it can be used for many years without any problems.
