Anchor Sticktwist is a classic 6-ply embroidery thread made from extra-long, high-quality Egyptian cotton fibers. Each of the six individual strands is double-twisted, ensuring an even, stable thread structure. Thanks to the practical skein design, the required length of thread can be easily removed without having to unwind the entire skein.
The variable thread count makes Anchor Sticktwist one of the most commonly used threads and versatile for use in almost all embroidery techniques. It is ideal for cross-stitch on fabrics of varying densities, as well as for colorful embroidery, canvas embroidery, and other counted embroidery techniques.
The yarn gets its special sheen, intense light reflection, and exceptional softness from the long cotton fibers and a double mercerization process. Available in 8-meter skeins in 460 brilliant solid colors (washable up to 95°C) and 24 vibrant multicolor shades (washable up to 60°C).
